FastMind ("we," "us," or "our") respects the privacy of our users ("user" or "you"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application FastMind (the "Application"). Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the application.

1. Collection of Your Information

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect via the Application includes:

Personal Data

Personally identifiable information, such as your email address, that you voluntarily give to us when you register with the Application. This is used solely for authentication purposes and to allow you to sync your data across devices.

Health and Wellness Data

  • •Fasting History: Start times, end times, and duration of your fasts.
  • •Mood Tracking: Information about how you feel during or after a fast (e.g., energetic, tired, focused).
  • •Journal Entries: Personal notes and thoughts you input into the "My Journal" feature.
  • •Body Metrics: Information regarding your fasting stage (e.g., Ketosis, Autophagy) calculated based on time.

Derivative Data

Information our servers automatically collect when you access the Application, such as your native actions (start/stop timer), device name, operating system version, and other interaction data for analytics and crash reporting.

2. Use of Your Information

We use information collected about you via the Application to:

  • •Create and manage your account.
  • •Track and display your fasting progress and history.
  • •Generate Personalized Insights: We use your fasting data, mood logs, and journal entries to generate personalized wellness advice and motivation using Artificial Intelligence (AI).
  • •Improve App Functionality: Analyze usage trends to improve the user experience.
  • •Process Payments: If you purchase a Premium subscription, payment transactions are processed through Google Play Services or Apple App Store. We do not store your credit card information directly.

3. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Features

FastMind utilizes Artificial Intelligence (specifically Google Gemini API) to provide coaching and insights.

  • •Data Processing: When you request an insight or advice, relevant context (such as your current fast duration, mood, and recent journal entries) is sent to the AI provider to generate a response.
  • •Privacy: We do not use your data to train public AI models. The data sent is used transiently to generate the specific response for you.

4. Disclosure of Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our Application, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.

We use the following third-party services:

  • •Google Firebase: For authentication, database storage (Firestore), and hosting.
  • •Google Gemini API: For AI text generation.
  • •Google Play Services: For handling in-app purchases and subscriptions.

5. Security of Your Information

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. Your data is stored securely in the cloud using Google Firebase standards. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.

6. Policy for Children

We do not knowingly solicit information from or market to children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.

7. Your Data Rights (Delete Account)

You have the right to access, update, or delete the information we have on you.

  • •In-App Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data directly within the Application settings via the "Delete Account" button in the "Danger Zone". This action is permanent and removes your data from our servers immediately.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date of this Privacy Policy. You are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed of updates.
